Global Leadership Institute: Vienna-Budapest

Global Leadership Institute: Vienna-Budapest

April 2-10, 2027

Through carefully curated visits, briefings, and conversations in Vienna and Budapest, participants will explore how education, government, workforce development, higher education, diplomacy, and community institutions work together to support learners and strengthen society. Structured reflection, dialogue, and analysis throughout the program will help participants connect what they learn to the leadership challenges and opportunities facing their own agencies and communities.

A Highlight of the Experience: The United Nations

Participants will visit the United Nations at the Vienna International Centre, one of the UN’s major international headquarters. The experience will provide an opportunity to learn more about the work of the United Nations and consider how international cooperation, diplomacy, and global challenges intersect with the work of education leaders.

For AESA leaders whose work connects schools, communities, government, business, and other partners, the visit offers a unique opportunity to consider leadership from a truly global perspective.
