A Professional Learning Experience for CEOs

The National ESA Leadership Academy is a yearlong professional learning experience for up to 25 sitting ESA CEOs. A diverse group of visionary educational leaders will engage in a combination of face-to-face and virtual learning events and activities, including international travel, designed to support their unique needs and interests as executive leaders in educational service agencies around the country.

The Leadership Academy experience includes:

  • Exploration of the leadership issues
  • Discovery of emerging issues
  • Deep dive into topics highly relevant topics
  • Worldwide travel in partnership with ACES International!  

Participant Requirements & Expectations

  • Each participant must:
    • Have at least two years of experience and is currently a CEO in an ESA.
    • Attend all virtual and in-person events, including the international trip.
    • Possess a valid passport by October 1, 2024.
  • Each agency will be responsible for covering CEO travel expenses except the international travel experience, which is included in the tuition.

Participation Tuition

  • $13,000, which includes all academy sessions and the international travel experience
  • Participants also receive a $100 registration discount for AESA's annual professional learning events: the Summer Leadership Conference, the Advocacy in Action Conference, and the Annual Conference.

Upon application approval, applicants will receive a link to enroll in the program and pay the tuition fee.
