The February 2024 AESA State Examiner is a month in review. Its purpose is to aggregate and review five topics including state-level Legislative Issue Monitoring. This month’s edition reviews truancy and absenteeism. It also takes a look at state-level budgets and finance; Statehouse News; National Reports; and Advocacy Tips.

The January 2024 State Examiner focuses on what is happening in statehouses around the country regarding high dosage tutoring and related interventions. It also includes reports about broadly shared state budget challenges, and special reports about education issues published during the month.

The December 2023 State Examiner focuses on special education funding, State budget allocations, and special reports about education issues published during the month.

The November State Examiner reviews legislation related to student health and welfare. It also features four reports from Pew Research, National Institute of Early Education, Mental Health America, and Fordham Institute. Six new advocacy tips round out this edition.
